History

The story of Egå Marina begins with Egå Sailing Club, founded in 1973 by a group of local sailing enthusiasts. The club's rapid growth created a need for a proper marina in the area.

On the club's initiative and in cooperation with local authorities, the present-day marina was built and inaugurated in 1978. Since then the harbour has grown to become the largest marina in East Jutland, with around 700 berths.
